UPEC boasts numerous research institutions (BIOTN, ICMPE, MSME, IMRB, and EFS) and academic components (IUT-CV, the Faculty of Health, the Faculty of Sciences, SESS-STAPS, and EPISEN) related to the fields of biomechanics and biomaterials.
The Biomechanics & Biomaterials Thematic Day aims to foster synergy between these stakeholders through a better understanding of each other's work related to these two major themes.
This day will bring together lecturer-researchers, researchers, postdoctoral fellows, and doctoral students specializing in these two fields. This day will also be open to Master's students in the "Biology-Health" and "Materials Science and Engineering" programs of the Faculties of Health and Science, respectively, the ISBS engineering program at EPISEN, and the BUT Physical Measurements program at IUT-CV, to introduce them to the world of research in these two disciplines.
The conference is organized around oral presentations divided into four plenary sessions, including two thematic roundtable sessions with invited speakers. Young researchers (PhD students and postdocs) are encouraged to present their work in the form of a poster or oral presentation.
